Last week, Facebook announced their Technology Partners Program, and we are thrilled to be one of the 11 companies selected to be a part of it. To cheer this partnership, we created an eBook titled, “The Developer’s Guide to Facebook Open Graph.” The eBook walks through a trio of apps that have had great success with the Open Graph, as well as describes how Kinvey can help developers build native mobile apps that integrate with OG.

The Android platform has released 39 version updates to the public, chock-full of countless feature additions, improvements and fixes. To capture the major milestones, we’ve created a visual timeline infographic of Android’s version history.

Last weekend, our in-house Android experts taught a class on intermediate Android development at Intelligent.ly. The class was attended by a dozen or so students with a wide range of Android experience and an equal amount of eagerness to learn more. I was able to pull a few aside to pick their brains about Android development – what challenges do they face? Why did they choose Android over iOS? And what advice might they have for someone else just getting started?

We are proud to be a part of Boston’s thriving tech community. And when the opportunity arises, we like to give back to this community – especially when it involves teaching something we love. This past weekend, our in-house Android experts Ed Fleming, Michael Salinger and Morgan Bickle taught a 2-day class at Intelligent.ly in Boston. The class, titled “Intermediate Android App Development,” gave developers the skills and knowledge needed to take their app to the next level.

Here on the marketing team at Kinvey, we aim to provide content that helps make your app development process easier, faster, and better overall. For many, the challenge in creating a successful app doesn’t lie so much within the building process as it does in the promotion of the final product. To that end, we’ve just released an eBook called How to Market your iOS App: The Definitive Guide to App Store Success, written by our friend Mikael Cho at ooomf.

That’s why Kinvey just moved to Boston from Kendall Square.
